Exporting or Emailing a Version
You can export any version of a document from its version history, or send it in email. As with documents in the repository, versions can be exported as images, text, or an electronic document.
Tip: You can also send a link to a particular version of a document using a custom LFE shortcut in the Laserfiche Client, or a custom URL in Web Access. See Customizing LFE Shortcuts or Custom URLs for more information.

To export a document version
- Select a document, then open the Version History dialog box in one of the following ways:
- Open the Metadata dialog box or Metadata Pane for any document. Select the Versions tab.
- Open the Tasks menu and point to Version Tracking, then select Version History.
- Select the version you want to export.
- Right-click and point to Export, or click the Export button. Select Images, Text or Electronic Document.
- The Export dialog box will open. Browse to the location to which you want to export the files.
- Click Save to export the document.
To export a document version
- Select a version in the version history.
- Right-click, point to Export, and select Export Image Version, Export Text Version, or Export Electronic File Version.
- The Export dialog will open. Specify settings for your export and click OK.
