Resizing Annotations

Many annotation types can be resized, but they cannot be extended beyond the image's borders.

Note: Linked highlights and redactions cannot be resized. To modify a linked text highlight or redaction, you will need to delete it and create a new one. Learn more about linked annotations.

To resize an annotation

1. Select the annotation you want to resize by clicking on it. If you cannot select the annotation, switch to Selection mode.
2. Drag handles, which let you resize an annotation in a particular direction, will appear.
3. Hover the cursor over a drag handle. The cursor will change to .

Tip: Callout text can be resized separately from their arrows. To resize the arrow, hover the cursor over the arrow's drag handle and it will change to .

4. Click and drag the handle until the annotation has reached the desired size.
