Browser: Settings
Under Browser: Settings, in the Options dialog box, you can customize document icon color and display properties.
- Display
- Show only latest members of a link group: When selected, the Folder Browser will only display the latest member of each link group, and all earlier link group members will be hidden from view. When cleared, Folder Browser will display all documents.
- Save pane layout: When selected, whenever a new Folder Browser window is opened , it will display the same panes that were active when the Folder Browser was last closed. When cleared, the default layout for all new Folder Browser windows will include the Folder and Contents Panes.
Example: If Save pane layout is selected, and if both the Folder Pane and Search Pane were closed in the last Folder Browser instance, they will also be closed when a new Folder Browser window is opened.
- Refresh folders automatically: When selected, folders will automatically be refreshed and updated when changes are made. This is the default setting, and we recommend you use it unless you are having trouble with refresh conflicts. When cleared, folders will not be automatically refreshed, and must be manually refreshed by pressing F5 to see updates to the folder.
- Group entries by folders and documents: When selected, entries in the contents pane of the Folder Browser will be sorted with folders and documents displayed separately, meaning folders are alphabetized first and then documents after. When cleared, folders and documents will be displayed together in the contents pane of the Folder Browser.
- Use Laserfiche document icons for electronic documents: This option determines the type of icons that will be used by electronic documents. When selected, standard document icons will be used for electronic documents. When cleared, electronic documents will use the icon for the Windows application associated with the corresponding electronic file.
- Entry Copy
- Copy access rights along with the entries: If this option is selected, when you copy folders, any access rights set on the folders will be included in the copy process. (Rights inherited from parent folders will not be included in the copy and paste.) When cleared,
access rights on copied and pasted folders will not be included.
