Annotation Deletion

The Annotation Deletion dialog box appears when a highlight or redaction is deleted. It determines whether a linked annotation will also be deleted along with the specified annotation.

All annotations can be removed unless they are protected. Once an annotation has been deleted and the document has been saved, you cannot restore the annotation unless the document was saved as a new version.

To delete annotations

  1. Select the annotation want to delete. If you cannot select the annotation, switch to Selection mode.
  2. Press the DELETE key, or right-click and select Delete.
  3. Optional: If you are deleting a linked annotation, you will be prompted to delete only the selected annotation or to delete both annotations. Make a selection, and click OK.
