Installing IIS Components Windows 8

You must install IIS Basic Authentication and ASP.NET Windows features, on the machine hosting the Workflow Web Service. The Workflow Web Service lets you start business processes from the Laserfiche client applications.

To install these features

1. From the Charms Bar, select Settings.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Select Programs and Features.

Note: If Programs and Features is not displayed, select Programs, then Programs and Features.

4. Select Turn Windows features on or off.



5. In the Windows Features dialog box, expand World Wide Web Services. Then expand Application Development Features and Security.
6. Under Application and Development Features, select ASP.NET 4.5. When you select this feature, other features will automatically become selected as well.
7. Under Security, select Basic Authentication. Show me what this looks like.



8. Click OK to begin the installation. You may be asked to insert your Windows Installation CD. You may be prompted to restart the computer.
