Pending Tasks

If you're assigned tasks as part of a Forms process, you can view and complete those tasks from the Forms inbox. The number of pending tasks you have will be displayed next to Pending Tasks in the main menu.

Example: When employees submit travel requests, you need to approve them. Once you approve them, an email is automatically sent to the travel coordinator to make travel arrangements.

To view and complete pending tasks

  1. Press Pending Tasks from the Forms inbox in the main menu on the left. The main menu is accessed by swiping right on the navigation bar at the top of the app on a touchscreen device. Alternately, press the back button Back buttonuntil you see the main menu button Menu buttonin the top left.

  2. By default, the tasks are sorted by the date they were assigned. Press the sort button Sort button in the top right to categorize the processes by the date they were assigned, priority (urgent, high, medium), the user who started the process, or the process name.

  3. Note: Priority is set automatically based on settings in the business process's user tasks. Learn more.

  4. Press a task you want to complete or view more information about.
  5. The task page will appear showing you the last action taken in the process and the form you need to act on. You can press the X in the top left to close the page.
  6. Review the form and press an action button (i.e., Submit) on the form to complete your tasks.

  7. The next task in your inbox will automatically be displayed, letting you move through your list of tasks quickly.
