Image Editing and Processing

When you add images to a new or existing document from your device's gallery or from pictures taken with your device's camera, you can edit the images and process the document before it's saved to the repository. You can also edit images before attaching them to forms.

Note: If image processing is not working properly, ensure the Laserfiche Mobile Image Processing Service is running.

To edit an image:

  1. Once you have taken a picture, selected one from the gallery, or attached one to a form, a preview of the picture will be displayed with image editing options. These options can be applied one picture at a time:
  2. When finished with the image edits, press the check mark button Checkmark button in the bottom right corner. Press Back Back button to cancel the image edits.
  3. When finished, press the check mark Checkmark button in the top right corner.

Note: Image editing will not be available on devices with less than 900 megabytes of memory. Devices that do not support image editing will offer the original image processing options.

Note: Some images do not support image editing (e.g., TIFF, GIF).

To process the document:

To process a document before saving it to the repository, press the Processing button Processing button in the app bar. Learn more about capturing images.

Note: Image processing cannot be applied to forms attachments.

Note: The processing you configure on the Processing Options screen will be applied to every page of the document.
