You can search for documents and forms that have been saved offline.
Windows Device
On Windows 10, Cortana integrates with the operating system's local search feature to help you find local files. You can use the search box in the task bar at the bottom to enter your search query or, if Cortana is in listening mode, you can ask the assistant to search for you.
To search specifically for offline Laserfiche items, the following commands must be used
- Laserfiche [search term]
- Find [search term] in Laserfiche
- Find [search term] from Laserfiche
- Search [search term] in Laserfiche
- Search [search term] from Laserfiche
- Show my tasks from Laserfiche
- Show my tasks in Laserfiche
- Show tasks from Laserfiche
- Show tasks in Laserfiche
- Show documents in Laserfiche
- Show forms from Laserfiche
- Show forms in Laserfiche
- Search Laserfiche for [search term]
The search query will search
- Document name
- Document text (first 500 characters)
- Folder name
- Form name
- Process name
- Task name
- Form and task field values
Note: If forms, tasks, or processes have been saved offline but not modified, you will only be able to search them by name. Once modified (i.e., edit a form field value) and saved, you will be able to search for them by form content (i.e., field value).
