Watermark Tab
The Watermark tab, in the Laserfiche Snapshot Printing Preferences dialog box, configures
watermark printing for the images created by Laserfiche Snapshot.
- Print watermark: Enables the printing of watermarks on the images generated from a print
job.
- Add watermark to the first page only: The selected watermark will only be printed on the first page of the
document.
- Unique watermark on the first page: When selected, you have the option to select two watermark images. The image selected under First page will only be printed on the first page, while the image selected under Other pages will be printed on the remaining pages.
- Portrait\Landscape pages: Watermark image files and their options are specified
as portrait or landscape because they can be stretched to fit the page. This may require that a
separate watermark image be used for portrait and landscape images.
- Watermark image
file: The image file that should be used as a watermark in TIFF, BMP, or JPG format. If necessary, the printer
driver will convert a watermark image to the format of the page that is
currently printed, for example, if a color image is specified as a watermark
and the printer driver is set to generate monochrome images, the color
image will be converted to monochrome and
added to the page.
- Position:
Sets the mode for how watermarks are printed to the page.
- Stretched
to Fit: Stretches the watermark image to the size of the page.
Depending on the size of the watermark, stretching can distort the watermark
image.
- Stretched
to Width: Stretches the watermark image to fit the width of the
page. Stretching will not distort the watermark image but the watermark image can become longer than the page itself and parts of
it may not be visible on the page.
- Center:
Prints the watermark to the center of the page without changing the size of the watermark.
- Tile:
Prints the watermark tiled on the page. The size of the watermark
image is not changed and it will be cropped if it does not
fit on the page.
- Brightness:
Determines how visible the watermark is on the page.
Higher percentage value produces a lighter watermark; lower value produces
a more visible watermark.
- Restore Defaults: Allows you to restore the default settings for all printer options.
