Template Tab
The 
Template tab, in the Laserfiche Snapshot Shared Printer Configuration dialog box, displays
the default template and field data to be assigned to Laserfiche
documents created by Snapshot.
- When no template is assigned, use the Laserfiche default template: Specifies that the Laserfiche default template will be used. This option will not be displayed if a template is selected, but will be displayed and will take effect if fields are applied independently of templates.
- Template: The template that will be assigned to the Laserfiche imaged document
being created. In addition to providing a list of templates, this list
contains "<No template assigned>," allowing the document to be created without being associated with a template. A template with a required field can be saved with a blank value in the Snapshot configuration, but the required field must be filled before the document can be saved to the repository.
- Add/Remove Fields: Displays and allows modification of independent fields for the current document. Fields in the template assigned to the document cannot be added as independent fields.
