Options-Help-General

In the Help node of the Laserfiche PhotoDocs Options dialog box, you can configure whether PhotoDocs will use online help files. The advantage of online help files is that you will automatically receive any updates that have been made since the software was released.

1. Select your default source for help files.
   • Use online help: Help files stored on a Laserfiche website will be displayed in your default web browser. This option requires an Internet connection and access to http://www.laserfiche.com.

     Tip: Use online help to ensure you are receiving the most up-to-date help files.

   • Use local help: Help files installed locally with PhotoDocs will be used. No Internet connection is required.
2. Check for Internet connection for online help: Specify whether PhotoDocs should check to see if you have an Internet connection before using online help. If this option is selected, PhotoDocs will resort to local help in the event an Internet connection is not available. In most cases, this option should be selected.
