Folder Pane and Search Pane can be customized by size and visibility. The appearance of the Folder Pane and Search Pane can be customized by size and visibility.
Size
Size is mostly about the width of a pane, since height is determined by the current window size. Width can be adjusted for each pane by dragging the divider (the solid line between the panes) until the pane is the desired width.
Note: Laserfiche remembers the width of each pane, so resizing one pane will not affect the other.
Determining Which Pane is Displayed
A pane can be closed by either clicking the red (x) 
in the upper-right hand corner of the pane or by clicking the Folders Pane or Search Pane toolbar buttons. Pressing one of those toolbar buttons will toggle the visibility of the corresponding pane.
Example: Clicking Folder Pane while the Folder Pane is visible will close the Folder Pane. However, if you click it when the Search Pane is visible, the Folder Pane will be displayed and the Search Pane will be hidden.
