Column Profiles
You can save a specific column layout as a column profile in order to load it later. This allows you to configure multiple column layouts for different purposes and quickly switch between them.
Saving a column profile will save the columns displayed, the order they are displayed in, and the column widths.
Saving Column Profiles
You can save a specific column layout as a column profile to load it later. This allows you to configure multiple column layouts for different purposes and quickly switch between them. For instance, you might want to view a document's last modified date when browsing for updated files, but you might need to quickly see template information when looking for documents pertaining to particular clients. You could create saved column profiles for both of these purposes, and load the appropriate one when you need it. Saving a column profile will save the columns displayed, the order they are displayed in, and the column widths.
Column profiles are stored on a per-user basis. This means that, when you save a column profile, you will be able to load that profile from any computer you use to access Laserfiche. Other users will not be able to load your column profile.
Tip: Administrators can create column profiles for the entire repository using trustee attributes, or can copy a saved column profile from one user to another. See Trustee Attributes in the Laserfiche Administration Guide for more information.
