Images Found

The Images Found dialog box determines how text will be generated for electronic documents. It only appears when creating searchable text for one or more electronic documents that contain image pages.

• Extract text and delete image pages: If possible, text will be retrieved from the electronic file associated with an electronic document. The newly created text pages will replace the existing image/text pages in the electronic document.
• OCR the existing images: Electronic documents that contain image pages will be processed by OCR. Text will not be retrieved from the electronic file.
• Ignore electronic documents with existing image pages: No action will be performed on electronic documents that contain image pages. Text will not be generated for these electronic documents.
• Don't ask me again: Use the currently selected configuration as default whenever processing an electronic document that contains image pages. Selecting this checkbox will skip this dialog box and automatically perform the selected action.
