Browser: Browser Columns

The Browser Columns section under Browser in the Settings dialog box allows you to configure how columns are displayed in the Folder Browser.

Columns displayed should be: If the columns displayed in the Folder Browser can be customized on a per-folder basis.

• The same for all folders: The columns displayed will be the same for all folders.
• Remembered for each folder: The columns displayed can be customized per folder. To do so, browse to the folder before opening this Settings dialog. If the column for a particular folder has not been customized, it will use the columns displayed when this option was initially configured.

Configure the columns for all folders: You can add or remove columns displayed in the Folder Browser.

Available Columns

• Standard: Displays the standard Laserfiche columns to choose from.
• Template: Displays all fields to choose from organized by their associated templates.
• Fields: Displays all fields to choose from in alphabetical order.
• Records Management: Displays all records management columns to choose from.

Tip: If you choose to display a field that supports multiple-values, you can hover over the displayed value to view a tooltip containing additional assigned values.

Note: The Security column displays a string of text containing 3-letter abbreviations of granted entry access rights. Hover over the displayed value to view a tooltip with a table that lists the abbreviations with their corresponding entry access rights.
